TO OUR PRACTICE
Our aim is to provide our patients
with the best possible care within the resources available to us and to deal with
any problems as quickly and efficiently as possible. Patients will be treated

PRECAUTIONARY NOTICE
In the event of a flu pandemic declared nationally the Practice will be suspending a number of services. These will include New Patient Registrations, Minor Surgery, Travel Vaccines, Cervical Screening, Chronic Disease Clinics, Sickness Certificates, any Non-NHS Services. Telepone, Surgery and Home Visits Times may also change.
BANK HOLIDAY
The Practice will be closed on Monday 31 August 2009. In an emergency, please contact the out-of-hours service on 0870 606 2288. The Practice will re-open as normal on Tuesday 01 September 2009.
PROTECTED TRAINING TIME FOR STAFF
The Practice will be closed on Wednesday 23 September 2009 from 1:00 pm for staff training. In an emergency, please contact the out-of-hours service on 0870 606 2288. The Practice will re-open as normal on Thursday 24 September 2009.
GP REGISTRAR
Dr Conor McCaffrey has commenced training with the Practice for a 12 month period from 05 August 2009.
PRACTICE SURVEY RESULTS - 2008
Thank you for participating in our Practice Survey. We appreciate you giving of your time to complete the survey forms. Our results were very favourable. We note that again satisfication with the receptionists remains a very high rating which we are extremely happy with. Our lowest rating was satisfication with phoning through to the practice. We appreciate this continues to be a problem but we are currently involved with the providers who are monitoring the telephone lines and will hopefully improve the situation in the near future.
REPEAT DISPENSING SCHEME
This scheme is an alternative option to obtain your medicines. Your GP will give you a maximum of 12 months "repeatable prescription". With these prescriptions you can collect your medicines from a pharmacy of your choice at regular intervals without having to contact the practice. Contact the Repeat Prescription Line on 028 66 342456 or call to reception to find out if you could avail of this scheme. Full details will be explained to you.
